Stress used to run my life.

Now I run to Jesus... and Stress Away.😊

Listen.

I used to think living overwhelmed was just part of the job description of being a mom.

Laundry mountains? Normal.

Tight chest and a racing mind at 2am? Normal.

Crashing at 8pm then waking at 2am wired? Yep, also normal.

Crying in the shower? Classic.

But guess what?

Just because it’s common doesn’t mean it’s holy.

We’ve glorified hustle and normalized anxiety.

And I’m not here for it anymore.

A few years ago, I was on medication for stress. It helped… until it didn’t.

I felt flat. Disconnected.

I wanted to FEEL better — not just be numb.

So I started looking for other tools.

Jesus, first. Always.

But also magnesium. Sleep. Boundaries. (And actual quiet for my brain.)

And that’s when I found an oil I now lovingly call my pocket-sized therapist:

Stress Away.

Y’all… it’s like vacation in a bottle.

Lime + vanilla + emotional reset.

It smells like calm and reminds me I don’t have to carry it all.

And you know what?

I’ve been through hard, heavy things since — and I haven’t gone back.

Because between Jesus, the oils, and the supplements holding me through it all…

I’ve learned peace is possible — even in the middle of chaos.

Real peace is knowing Jesus is with you in the mess, not just in the miracle.

I thought I was being obedient choosing surrender as my word this year.

Turns out, I didn’t know what I was signing up for. 🙃

Trusting God with the unknown is one of the hardest parts of walking in faith.

But when I loosen my grip, peace has room to enter.

I don’t have all the answers — but I trust the One who does.

Surrender. Yep… that’s my word for the year.

Yep… that’s my word for the year.

Funny how God gave it to me before I realized just how tightly I like to grip control. 😅

I want the plan. I want the outcome. I want to know it all works out the way I hope.

But… I’m learning (slowly) that peace doesn’t come from having all the answers.

It comes from trusting the One who does. 🙌

I’m praying over a few things right now and surrendering is not my strong suit.

But God is patient. He’s kind. And He’s got this (and me).

One surrendered step at a time.

But let’s be real... how often do we try anyway?

We stress. We strive. We spin ourselves into exhaustion trying to fix, figure out, or control it all.

And then we wonder why we feel anxious, tired-but-wired, and like we’re barely holding it together. 😅

Been there. Still there some days.

But here’s the truth that’s saving me lately:

God never asked us to be superhuman. He asked us to be surrendered.

🙌 Less striving. More surrendering.
🕊️ Less hustle. More peace.
💜 Less carrying. More casting (1 Peter 5:7)

Especially when it’s something you deeply care about.

the desire to control it all?

Exhausting.

But here’s the freedom:

God isn’t asking you to carry it all.
He’s asking you to trust Him with it.

I used to think peace would magically arrive once…

…the house was clean
…the to-do list was done
…the kids were asleep
…my mind stopped spinning

But guess what?

Life never fully slows down.😞

There’s always another mess. Another need. Another what-if.

And in all my searching for peace in places — I almost missed the Person who offers it freely.

Jesus didn’t say, “I’ll give you peace once your life is calm.”

He said, “My peace I give you.”

Right in the middle of the storm.🙌

Peace isn’t a place. It’s a person. And He’s with you.

You don’t have to chase calm.

You just have to come close to Christ.

It’s anchored in Him.

Even when your hair’s a mess and the dishes aren’t done.

You’re still His.

This weekend isn’t about perfection or performance — it’s about a Savior who did what we never could.

Let that truth settle deep:

You are deeply loved. Eternally redeemed. Forever His.

He is risen.

We could never be enough. Not with our striving.

We could never be enough.

Not with trying to hold all the pieces together.

But the good news?
Jesus already was — and He still is.

The cross was never about what we could do.
It was about what He already did.
